Doug has been married to his high school sweetheart Jennifer since 1996, and they live in Brighton, Michigan with their two daughters Audrey and Josie. Doug was also Caerusnet's 2022 MVP Facilitator of The Year for the leadership he provides to his Ann Arbor, Brighton & Detroit Caerusnet teams. Doug was an overseer at The Well Church in Brighton for 6 years, served on the board of Love INC in Howell for 3 years and currently serves on the board of, and is the Treasurer of, the Brighton Rotary Club.He is the co-founder of the Beth Moffat Memorial Scholarship Fund awarded at Hartland High School, and enjoys coordinating an annual fundraiser, a golf outing, every spring. May 6th, 2023 will be the 22nd year! Doug graduated from Lake Forest College with a double major in Business & Sociology, and honed his professional skills as a Financial Advisor for 20 years at Northwestern Mutual from 1997 to 2017.
