Trisha Turner is the owner of Turner Design Group with over 16 years of experience in client relationships, project management, lasting installation practices, extensive plant knowledge and ecology driven solutions. Her background is in landscape design-build and horticulture which drives lasting solutions for both residential and commercial properties. Her love for landscape architecture and horticulture started with one elective class at Michigan State University. Not knowing what she wanted to do the rest of her life, her parents advised her that she “would find something at MSU” which was close to her hometown. Indeed, she did! She graduated from Michigan State University in 2009 with a Bachelor’s in Landscape Architecture and continued her professional journey into the design-build sector. With a desire for a faster-paced environment and drive for ownership, Turner Design Group was created in February of 2020. The timing was right but then COVID happened. Trisha thought this might delay the start of her company, although she knew it would be part of her start and her story. To her surprise, COVID did not slow her down. With the help of her family, Trisha was able to start her first year strong with a great team!
Trisha feels truly blessed to enjoy her occupation and finds it rewarding to work with others that value beautiful landscapes. She lives in Livingston County, Michigan, with her husband Jonathan, stepdaughter Paige, daughter Alice and cat Twig.
