For over 30 years, Jim Linenger has been cultivating relationships with individuals and business owners. Prior to entering the financial services arena, he owned and operated several automotive aftermarket franchises in the Detroit area, where he received many top sales awards and served on the national advertising committee. When working with clients, it is important to Jim to listen to their concerns and goals first, and subsequently share sound economic principles that help them maximize their goals with the least amount of risk and expense. There are many eroding factors that impact a client’s ability to save for college and retirement. Identifying those obstacles before a client makes any financial transaction is of utmost importance. The three main questions Jim’s clients have that he provides answers for are “What if I die too soon”, What if I live too long”, and “What if taxes go up?” Jim is a graduate of Michigan State University. He has been extremely active in his church as a small group leader, youth group sponsor, men’s group leader and pre-marital mentor. Jim and his wife Theresa, have been married since 1976 and reside in the Oak Pointe Golf Community in Brighton. They have two sons, both of whom are married and own companies in the financial services industry. They and the grandkids just happen to live in great towns to visit, Chicago and Charleston.
