Sent with Love volunteers work together to send care packages and encouraging cards to kids fighting pediatric cancer and their families. Over 70% of Sent With Love Families have a child being treated at C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital in Ann Arbor.  Sent With Love was founded by Jennifer Rice in 2020 after her son was treated for acute myeloid leukemia. In an effort to support families that are currently fighting pediatric cancer, Sent With Love delivers gifts to inpatient and infusion several times a year, including Brighten Your Day Bags, Mother’s Day care packages, and Christmas in July gift bags. They also support the oncology/hematology nurse team. This ministry is Jennifer’s passion and daily purpose. She would love to talk with you about ways to get involved as a supporter, encourager, volunteer and/or prayer warrior. Jennifer homeschooled her 2 children and loves daily interaction with them as young adults. She also enjoys playing with her grandson and riding her Raleigh Capri 4.0 to support Make-A-Wish.
